Experience an unforgettable multi-day fishing adventure with Southern Sports Fishing in the legendary Chandeleur Islands from 9 - 12 Aug 2026. This opportunity is exclusively available to 6 active duty military, veterans, or first responders seeking an incredible experience on the water alongside fellow heroes.

Located roughly 40 miles offshore in the waters of Louisiana, the Chandeleur Islands provide anglers with over 45 miles of untouched shoreline and more than 30,000 acres of wade-able grass flats, coves, cuts, and inlets. It is not uncommon to encounter massive schools of surface-feeding Redfish, Speckled Trout, and flounder while Tarpon and Sharks provide an exciting mid-summer bonus opportunity.

Participants will launch from Point Cadet Marina in Biloxi, MS aboard THE VI, the trip’s mothership vessel, where members will eat, relax, and sleep onboard during the adventure. Throughout the trip, anglers will be provided smaller 16’ Sea Sport skiff boats to fish the banks, cuts, bayous, and grass flats surrounding the islands. Members may also have opportunities to wade fish some of the most productive waters along the Gulf Coast.

The professional captain and crew will provide expert guidance and support throughout the experience. This trip is designed to provide more than just incredible fishing — it’s an opportunity to decompress, build camaraderie, and create lasting memories with fellow veterans, active duty military members, and first responders.

Trip Schedule:

• Arrive Point Cadet Marina – 5:00 PM on 9 Aug 2026

• Fish all day on 10 Aug

• Fish all day on 11 Aug until sunset
